The face of the homeless man who ate another man's face before being shot dead by police

Surveillance footage shows the two naked men after the attack                   Rudy Eugene

31 year old homeless man Rudy Eugene was shot dead by police on Saturday May 27th after he was seen chewing off the face of another homeless man while high on drugs. Rudy chewed off 75% of his victims face in the most horrific attack that has left the victim battling for his life in the hospital.

A man was cycling off the MacArthur Causeway on Saturday afternoon when he saw a naked man tearing pieces of flesh from another naked man's face at the side of a freeway. The cyclist, who later told reporters that it was the most gruesome, traumatic thing he'd ever seen in my life, called the police to the scene. When the police couldn't get Eugene to stop the savage attack, they shot him dead.

To see what's left of the face of the victim, then continue...but please be warned, it's extremely graphic. If you don't want to see it, do not continue...

ASUU plans to resist UNILAG's change of name

The chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Lagos branch, Dr Karo Ogbinaka, has said that the union will resist the recent change of the university's name.

Dr Ogbinaka said:
We are resisting it, all the unions and the students will resist it, the Alunmus will resist it. The truth about the whole thing is that it shows the level of intelligence of those people in government. Nobody will change Harvard's name, nobody will change Cambridge's name to Winston Churchill University. University of Lagos is a brand, for 50 years. The first university established by Act of Parliament and one man trying to score cheap political point. When people go outside and you ask them what university are you from? What name will you pronounce? They'll ask is it a new university? Is it the name of a toothpaste? It's a senseless thing and are going to resist it. Karo said

Gun men kill four people at a relaxation joint in kano

Gunmen armed with assault rifles, on Saturday May 26th opened fire on a group of card players at the Filin Kashu relaxation spot in Gaida, Kano, killing four people and injuring several others.

The gunmen came in two separate motorcycles around 6pm, shot at the crowded fun spot and shot in the air for about 20 minutes before speeding away. The shooting caused a stampede, which led to the injury of several more.

This is the second time this year a fun spot patronized by card players will be attacked. Some say because Poker, known as Karta in Hausa is listed as a game of chance by Quran and encourages Muslims to stay off it. No group has claimed responsibility for the shooting.

The Laziest Book is finally out!

Two years ago, author, speaker and blogger Okechukwu Ofili shared his stupidity with the world in the hilariously successful “How Stupidity Saved My Life.” Everything seemed to be going well for the engineer turned blogger turned speaker, but all that changed when he visited the doctors office for a routine check-up and was diagnosed with a life threatening disease. He later found out that his diagnosis was a result of over working himself at his job. After seeing so many people other people burnt out from work, he decided to pen his second book to show that contrary to popular belief, Laziness can actually save your life! The result is the witty HOW LAZINESS SAVED MY LIFE: A collection of radical business ideas for tired, overworked and frustrated people looking for an easier way to get stuff done!
